Dear Fellow Harvardians:
Thank you all for this great honor of becoming the 141st president of the Harvard Odontological Society. This society is the oldest university dental society in the country. It was formed as soon as Harvard had alumni and faculty, in 1887. The mission was to have a group of dedicated men and women to socialize, learn together and advance dentistry.
As for me, I have been attending meetings since 1988 and found the societies mission to have enriched my professional and personal life. There are friends I have made, and a connection to the dental school, I never would have had without the Harvard Odontological Society. This is a special place.
I would encourage all alumni and faculty to join and hopefully enjoy this special opportunity. For more information, contact the society using the HOS ‘contact us’ form found here.
