Welcome Message
Dear Fellow Members,

It is my great honor and privilege to serve as the 135th president of the Harvard Odontological Society. I have had the distinct pleasure of being the secretary of the society for the last 9 years. The executive committee nominated Dr. Bernard Friedland who agreed to be the new secretary of the society.

I am happy and look forward to serving as the President of one of the oldest running dental societies in the country. I hope you all had a good summer and excited for a new year for the Harvard Odontological society. During a recent society meeting this past April, the membership voted to reduce the number of meetings to three per academic year instead of four. The decision was based on logistical conflicts due to a now earlier Harvard Graduation. As with every year our speakers are chosen from all walks of life and I am excited to say that this year also we have an exciting program planned. Please be sure to mark your calendars and I look forward to seeing you at the next society meeting in October.

Also, I want to thank all the members for their patronage and for their participation. Last but, not least to Constant Crohin as treasurer and all the past Presidents that I had the honor to serve. I look forward to serving the society as its President.

Sincerely,
S. Faheem Rasool
President
